New first: Sharing a table at Long Beach
I am taking the plunge and am sharing a table at the Long Beach show with Cashman Currency. Table 1058. I am going to sell off my PCGS Lincoln Registry set and a few other things. But the main focus will be teaming up with some folks that are doing a survey on the coin market in general. All those who take the survey will be placed in a drawing for an NGC slabbed $5 American Gold Eagle. Please come by and say hello, fill out a survey, or not. Looking forward to meeting some fellow members. I don't expect to sell much as I will probably be asking too much for them. Hey it is hard selling your children. But I am excited to be there for a full 3 days. Hope to see some of you there!

Maybe you can report back on the level of activity you see in the Lincoln market.

Well here is one thing I can report back right now:
When I inquired about a table last week I was told I had my choice of only 5. The coordinator told me she had higher demand for tables this time. So I wonder if it is a sign of the times that dealers who would not usually get a table doing so because they need this "outlet" to move product? Now I know it is usually pretty full anyway, but all I am conveying is her focus on the show being nearly sold. I also called the safe company who provides safes for the show and they said that by today they would no longer have any safes available. Those things start at $500 to rent for the 3 days. From this I surmise there will be no shortage of "product" at the show.
