Please forgive my photo skills.

First what do you think of this coin?

Second what do you think the "white" stuff might be? I have seen this on copper before and am positive it isn't PVC. I am soaking it in olive oil now hoping that will help.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated. It isn't easy for me to find these where I am at any grade.

Thanks. I like it a lot but that white stuff really catches the eye.
