Oh, you're right. I didn't see that. Same goes for the 1955 Mantle jersey-ended at $88,579.00 without meeting reserve.

In this economy if I needed the money, I think I would have to accept $100k as my reserve. That's enough to pay off my house.

I would think a serious seller would disclose the minimum and let any buyer who is approved bid if they feel they want it that bad. In live auctions when you are in person you see lots of sellers these days decide to drop the min. price if they feel the bidding is stopping.

Truth be told, I drive a $25K Acura and a $10K Toyota pickup. But $100K would buy a "pretty" nice car here in Southern California.

Lots of $$ for a card that really isnt that rare!

There are thousands of baseball cards rarer, ie. every single T204, T208, T209, T210, T211, T212-1, T213-1, T213-2, T213-3, T214, T215, T216, T217, etc.

Wow. It would be interesting to see how much the seller bought the card for. Perhaps the seller is
looking for a bigger profit margin.
