How long does it take for PSA to ship?

Just curious how PSA ships the cards they grade. According to the site, my submission shipped on 1/21/2009. Considering they charge an arm, a leg, and first born for shipping, what method do they use that I wouldn't have my cards on the East Coast by now? I've had foreign shippers shipping at low rates get things to me faster. Pony Express possibly? OR... is it possible that the 1/21/2009 is a big pile of crap and they are actually still sitting on someone's desk? Anyone have any experience with this?

    I'm also waiting on my subs to be returned. Since they are sent registered mail, it may take 1-2 weeks.

    PSA charges include a new born... Good to know.

    Powered ... Registered Mail usually takes a lot longer than regular first class mail. Here is a definition:

    Registered mail provides a secure method of mailing. The envelope travels separately from other mail, in a special locked container. Each postal employee handling the item signs for it. At the recipient's post office, a receipt is obtained from the recipient and kept at that post office; a copy of the receipt may be returned to the sender.

    I had 4 packages arrive at my house on Jan 24th.

    They were shipped jan 8th, 9th , 16th and 20th and they all got to me on the 24th. Bizarre

    Open a free fedex account - It's cheaper and I have found to be much faster.
