1956 Lincoln Proof..................opinions please

This had a haze on it when I pulled it from the sealed set a while back,acetone had little to no effect on the haze so I decided to soak for a couple weeks in oil , tonite I checked it and I think it's a winner........opinions please.

Looks great. Beautiful brilliant proof. Excellent results. Perhaps this is what I should try on a proof 1999 "close AM" cent that is quite hazy. Copper is so reactive and I don't want it to end up pink, so I have just left it in the proof set as is.

Did you use mineral oil or olive oil?

The coin in hand to me looks cam, the pics were quickies in the few minutes I had before I left the office...

As to the oil, this will probably be a shocker, I have used this for over a year on copper and have had some good results, and best of all it has not had any negative effects
to date on unc's or proof's......

Yep, a shocker LOL. I definitely don't have any of that around. What are the ingredients in it?

not a shocker to me. gun oil is usually very high quality product. oil should not normally harm metal. what was your rinsing and drying technique if you don`t mind? it looks great with no signs of haze or cleaning. it has a shot at cam IMO

A quick rinse in acetone then compressed air then 91% Isopropyl alcohol then compressed air again.
