    Looks no good to me.

Same player list as all of the Craig's List scamsters.

Video-game buyer; looks like a punk on crime spree.

    ..........

He is subject to PayPal's 21-day hold.

The way the scamsters beat that is to contact the buyer
after the sale and offer a HUGE discount if the buyer will
do a MO or WesternUnion payment.

Or, the seller can use a "send money invoice" outside of
EBAY. This beats the hold and defeats the SNAD portion
    of the Buyer Protection policy.

Or, if the cards/slabs are fake, he might ship 'em and hope
the buyer does not know the difference.

This exact same group of cards went poof last month. The seller's ID (rmulvihi) may be new, but this guy's been eBaying for a while longer.

The certs of the '53 Mantle and '48 Ruth match the one's, from the "poofed" group, that I jotted down for verification reasons last month.

I can't remember the "poofed" seller's ID from last month, but I'm pretty sure it had the word "mulvihi' as part of it.

    Same 3-day format too.

  • If I decide to sell, I figure that is the was to go. Buy four cheap items, sell a $7 cookbook and than list a psa7 52 Mantle.

I reported all this to ebay on the phone. Maybe he will go "poof" again! (I explained that these same cards went "poof" last month under another user ID)

Good places to file LE complaints:

    www.ic3.gov

    ......

Look up the LE in the seller's town at

    www.usacops.com

If he is in a small town, the police might visit him. At the
very least a report puts him on the radar.

    .....

LE is really the ONLY avenue. EBAY has ZERO intention of
solving ANY fraud problems on the site.

Aren't there laws against attempted fraud and attempted robbery, etc? Why are police not arresting these scumbag criminals?

Because people are not filing complaints.

Folks who complain MUST be persistent. If a low-level
LE-worker gives you the brush-off, keep moving up the
chain. If the top guys refuse to help, go to their municipal
    bosses and complain.

LE will act, but they are busy and they often must be
    pushed hard.
