How does PSA Compare with BVG or SGC

PSA is always (ok 99% of the time) supposed to be able to detect trimming right???
Well, in the area of trimming only, how does Beckett (BVG) or SGC compare???
Can they detect trimming or recoloring as well as PSA???
If not, how accurate are they in comparison?
Thanks

Thank you very little.
General belief is that PSA and SGC catch trimming most of the time.
Beckett not as often. They'll even grade cards recently cut from sheets ...
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
Anybody out there???

My boy's wicked smart.
<< <i>I prefer the neat, fresh cut look of a finely trimmed card - I never liked borders on a card and the less border the better as far as I am concerned, which is why I always ask only for Pro-Graded cards whenever I visit card shops, and I search only for Pro-Graded cards on ebay...which assures me of the best in trimmed cards. >>
Yup, last i heard PRO was the best in du business for trimmed cards!!!
Say you submit 1,000 cards to each company over a period of a year, with 30% trimmed.
I have no interest in trying to collect that data.

Carol rocks!
<< <i>PSA is great of course but SGC has the best customer service in my opinion. The turn around times are quick. I like that do not have to be a member to submit cards. I do wish PSA would use the SGC registry as they have made drastic changes that are great for the collector. Just my opinion. >>
Not knocking SGC at all becuase I feel they offer a quality service BUT if they handled as much as PSA does in subs, There customer service may not be quite as good as it is now.. jmo.
1. SGC hardest
2. PSA have gotten a lot better over the last 2 years
3. BVG gaining ground, hurts their standing as was mentioned that they have graded sheet cut cards
<< <i>I think all three do a good job of rejecting trimmed cards but some still get thru. If I had to rank them I would say-
1. SGC hardest

I have to disagree with SGC being the hardest. I think SGC is by far the easiest on centering. PSA has gotten much tougher since the half grades came out. All in all each have their issues. I wish BVG would have kept the subgrades, that was very helpful for people who bought on ebay. I have all three in my collection, I use SGC and BVG more since I don't need to pay $100 for the privilege to spend money with them.
