New classic commemorative coin book available.

Kyle Vick in Roswell, GA has just published a new book on U.S. Commemorative coinage titled The Authoritative Reference on Commemorative Coins 1892-1954 by Kevin Flynn.

Kevin packs a lot of information into 360 pages including background, variety and proof coin data available almost nowhere else. He also invested the time and effort to access many original source materials in the archives and Commission of Fine Arts.

I’ll let Longacre and others write the book review – just though collectors of classic commemoratives would be interested.

(My involvement with the book? I reviewed a draft and offered some suggestions and a few corrections based on my research.)
