<< <i>It's too trimmed to be graded by a reputable company? >>
That's my guess. Still worth having, just not worth paying registry prices for. Back when we cut them out, nobody knew what PSA would require 45 years later.
I apologize for the error on my behalf! I quick deleted as the report I received from someone else may have been misjudged. I quickly deleted after further examination of the card's listing. It was reported to me by an OPC collector as a fake because of the make shift label he mistook as another company. And that is WHY I quickly deleted and reposted. I apologize for any confusion or problems. I just wanted the board to know.
Thanks Steve! I may have jumped the gun a little too fast. I HATE SCAM artists! They are trying to ruin the Hobby! I mean this guy IS trying to pawn it off as a legitimately graded card by a professional TPG. That's the thing that bugs me about the listing for the most part. I hope I didn't cause anyone any alarm...just trying to protect the collecting community. It was almost SCARY to see so many posts appear so FAST!!! I was swarmed, hog-tied and done in before I could hit the delete key! Thanks everyone for cuttin' me some slack! lol
<< <i>FWIW many of those Post/jello cards were counterfeited I don't know how to tell though.
I thought maybe you did.
lol yeah we wern't gonna let you off that easy Earl.
The card is legit. Post Canadian version of the US Post ceral card. If graded, it would probably get a PSA A, although I have seen them with miscut borders in PSA 3-5 depending upon how much border is left surrouding the card.
