Coin covered car circa 1964
I was going through some old pictures in the coin club "archives" and found this.
The inscription on the back of the picture says," Coin Covered Car- on way- from Walla Walla, Washington to N.Y. Worlds Fair. Jan. 5, 1964. In front of Moore's Coin Shop Omaha, NE "
Even though it's dated Jan 5, 1964, judging by the young girl in the picture I doubt it was taken in January in Nebraska.
Maybe that's when the cars odyssey began.
Anyway, thought it was a cool piece of exonumia. Wonder what kind of car it was and wonder what happened to it and it's coins!
