1986T BB Wax case from BBCE "Group Rip" ...Sold out! ....Now it is time to "rip"

Pleeeeeze note: BBCE has sold out of 86T Wax Boxes. I personally want to thank Rick at BBCE for making this and other "group rips" go smooth for us here on the CU threads.



I enjoyed participating in the BBCE 1986T BB Cello case rip...

I wanted to rip some 1986 Topps wax also, ...so I decided to start a another 1986 group rip, ...this time a BBCE wax case:

So if you want to participate, BBCE has more unopened, unsearched wax, so just post your interest: one or two, ...or more wax boxes?

BBCE pricing:

1 wax box ... ($9.90 + $ 7.00 UPS) = $ 16.90 delivered via UPS
2 wax boxes ($18.80 + $ 8.00 UPS) = $ 27.80 delivered via UPS
3 wax boxes ($29.70 + $ 9.00 UPS) = $ 38.70 delivered via UPS
4 wax boxes ($39.60 + $ 10.00 UPS) = $ 49.60 delivered via UPS


BBCE PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

Nice cards. I can't remember the last Mays card I picked up...I'm trying to close out a couple other player sets sometime this year (I hope!). I think my last 3 Seaver pick ups were from another board member with some excess cards.
The nice part about the 86 Topps boxes is that some of the players I'm looking to close out are in this set too (Schmidt, Brett, Seaver)...so if the cards are in phenomenal condition (maybe), then I could get double duty out of the rip. Cards for my sets and some fun in busting some packs.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through my two boxes and have a new appreciation for the difficulties of pulling anything that has a shot at 10. Here are my highlights so far... the Wynegar is included because it's probably the best candidate for a 10 I've found so far.

More PSA '86T BB Gems!

Received my cards today. UPS surely didn't stack a bunch of heavy boxes on top of my box. The shipping box looked like it had seen some better days.
3/4 of packs into the first box. Not too good. there are some bends on the tops of cards, about 3 or 4 cards into the pack, corners are dinged and there are a few cards that have a divot on one of the borders. Kind of like a finger nail squished the edge in. I certainly wasn't expecting 10s, but I don't think I'll be putting together a prized, hand collated, raw set.
Wonder if both boxes are the same...
Scans sometime soon.

Ryan, soooooooooo sorry to hear that! I received my two wax boxes today! I ripped one and it was fine. Very few dings and I would say overall, above average.

I'm too tired tonight to "loop" all those cards, but there are plenty of commons that look "PSA worthy". Maybe a few star cards too, but not too many!

I'll post some scans a little later! Ryan, hope you have better luck with that second box?
