2006 Topps Heritage Hobby Case break

I've enjoyed the recent case break threads, so here is my humble contribution. At a local show yesterday I was able to pickup a 2006 Heritage Baseball Hobby case (8 boxes) for $320. I've got tons of leftovers from 2006, but at $40/box, I couldn't resist. And hey, I don't think anyone ever came public with the mantle 1/1 cut sig so maybe I could hit the jackpot.

The good news: My 7 yr old son and i had a blast ripping through the packs.

The bad news: I would have liked to post the scans of the results, but there wasn't anything interesting to report: not one single autograph. Not even a black refractor. Plenty of short prints (~104 or 13/box) which is slightly better than the odds. 5 game used - 4 commons, and 1 a-rod bat relic which was either group A or D...( not sure...any help?).

I did get 21 chromes (no one great) and 6 refractors (#/557) - including a-rod.

It was an untampered factory-sealed hobby case. If I had bought this in 2006 for $500, I'd be very upset with Topps.

At least I got my bad luck rip out of the way in time for 2009 heritage.

    no ink at all??? WOW

I loved the 06 design, one of my favorite heritage sets. Wish I had picked up the Gordon for 50 bucks when I had the chance!
