There appears to be something going on within the "D", but if you've already carefully checked we'll take your word for it.

I'm no expert in Buffs at all. I see something going on too but if it is a D/S it certainly isn't as clear as the show and tell photos you see in the guides. Here is the best quick shot I can get of it. --Jerry

It doesn't appear to have been intentionally messed with, but I'll bet it looked much better when it was slabbed 15+ years ago. The string of white spots above the date and below the Buffalo's stomach strongly suggest a fingerprint which likely erupted post-slab.

It appears to be OMM-3 which is not the valuable D/S variety. Still interesting.
Any idea about when that was slabbed?
I have a Morgan in the same holder, but mine has a barcode.
