When someone says something stupid, attacking, or otherwise inappropriate it is a common practice to quote it simply so they can't edit it and deny it. --Jerry

But, here's the rub. If the person that quoted you found it to be offensive in the first place, why on earth would they want to repeat what was just said or posted?

Would that not condemn them to the same fate as the OP?

I know during the mass exodus of December '06, people were banned for simply "quoting" someone else's obscene post with-in theirs. Not too bright I might add.
