Pedigree Registry Question

I'm trying to figure out to how to qualify for a Pedigree. Do you have to be in the current top 5 or all time top 5?

Thanks,
John

  • Although they do not state it clearly on the benefits page, I have heard numerous times the set must be in the top CURRENT five, and of course be 100% complete. Sets with 10 or less items will only be pedigreed at PCGS's discretion.

They can pick what they want to do, too. The first set I had pedigreed was the fifth set in the top five and they would not qualify it. I was later able to move up a to fourth and get it pedigreed. Send them an e-mail with a link to your set and ask the question. The worst that can happen is they say no-not yet. Good luck.
