What does the labeling on the holder say?
I see "MS" in the upper right and "proof" in the lower left.

It looks like a nice circulation strike type B to me with a slightly clashed reverse die.

percyb has just asked a while ago in this thread what the differences were on a "B".
The type B's match the proof coins of the same date.
There are many minor differences in the "B". Some of the more major ones are:
The gap at the bottom of the letters between E and S in STATES is wider on the "B".
The leaf by the arrow points stick above them.
The leaf by A of DOLLAR merges solidly into the A. It does not merely touch. It is a high level bridge.
Searching the forum for "type B" willl bring up a number of strings with information that should refresh your memory.
One that will not come up is my string on the 1970 quarter reverse varieties since "B" is not in the title.

This shows a 1970 D B and gives a discussion on the differences concentrating in the area of the arrow heads.

I also collect Reverse hub "B" Washington's and picked up this one on ebay for around $20.00, The variety is not noted on the slab other than my sticker, but I bought it by reconizing the details of the reverse picture.



Also if you look at the olive branch it extends past the leading edge of the "T" on reverse "B"s

Nice find. I went into my local B&M and found a 58 and I think a 72-d Type B. I am still researching the 72, need to find pics.
