Stadium Club Members Only worth anything?

Hi All,

For whatever reason my dad was a Stadium Club Members Only junkie from I guess 1991-1995. Mostly football and baseball. He was a member and recently he gave me all the stuff he had. All still in the original shipping packages. Big sets, little sets and tiny sets. Is any of this stuff worth anything? I would love to hear from anyone who knows.

Thanks, Ed

I've got some of it myself and it has rec'd very little interest.

I suggest opening the material and looking for PSA 10 submission candidates. There are very few 10s available for any of sets and those collectors trying to complete Master Sets for individual players may be willing to bid up PSA 9s or 10s.

I gathered as much. I watch all the ebay listings and completed sales. Just hopeing there is some little set or card that pulls some kind of money. What the heck do I do with this crap?

I've purchased the complete sets for as little as .99...it just depends on the particular set and who's in the market when you decide to list. A lot of people break them up into player sets when they sell them.

Excellent idea. My grading specialty is vintage football. 1971 primarily and 2002 Finest football. I guess I should get the loop and light out. Any advice on which cards in 10 would bring some nice cashola?

I have some basketball sets that are still unopened that I have been giving away just to get rid of them. I guess I will take the advice of others and just bust them and sub the best.

I hear ya. I've seen them sell for so little. I wish pops would have bought gold or silver back then. He could have given me something worth something.

Do you think they would bid up 9's for sure? Or, is it 10 or nothing?

10s or nothing...you're dealing with player collectors and modern cards.

I would bid on Paul O'Neill PSA 9's, would prefer PSA 10's obviously, but at least PSA 9's.

I am a player collector of many players (most are commons with the occasional semi-star/star mixed in).

If you could list or send me a PM with the years and sport, I would gladly send you detailed want lists for each set.

You mentioned "mostly" football and baseball, so I guess there is some basketball as well?

In any event, thanks in advance for sending or posting the lists of which sets you have available for breaking up.

I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

I have lots of Stadium Clubs I ripped last year. Like the others say, they don't sell for much but they are nice quality cards and I will probably send in some for ttm's.

If you bust the sets up, I would be interested in the Dale Murphys
