My Friday NEWP... and a question for the Washington Guys...
This arrived today. Sorry the pics came out a little dark and I didn't notice the glue from a sticker residue on the reverse of the slab until AFTER I took the pictures
Anyway, the coin looks very nice in hand. I really don't know the series as I purchased this to go in a year set (my Dads birth year). My question is about the reverse. If you look at the bottom of the reverse you'll see (even though it's dark) lots of die cracks.... more than even the pic shows. Is this common for the 36s ? I doubt the die remained in service long after this one was made. Feel free to guess grade or make comments good, bad or indifferent... it helps me learn. Thanks.
