Cleaned out the Car change compartment and found.....

Today I arrived about an hour early for a coin show and had nothing to do, so to kill time I stayed in the car and cleaned out the change compartment in my car.

There was a ton of change.

Sorted the pennies and found a 1909 IHC in XF!!!!!

I don't know where I got it from, most likely change from the ever popular Tim Horton's restaurant here in Canada.

Good thing I never pay with pennies else it would have been spent long time ago.

I can't post a picture because the IHC is still in the car and it's about 10 below outside.

definitely no 'S' mintmark.

It's in XF but there is a very small 'plug' mark that seems like someone tried to put a hole through it but didn't get all the way through.

Wow, that's a nice find. My brother lets me go through his and the best I've found so far is a 1947 Nickel. Of which I've already saved about 20. D'oh! I never get anything nice in change, myself...

Once found a Merc in my car change bin. I have no idea how it got there. It had a big gouge on it, I think some collector just put it back into circulation for fun.

I once had an appliance repairman find about 6 or 7 "smoothies" in the drum of my dryer. They were so cool, but now I don't know where I put them.
