which has a better chance of recieving the same or higher grade if crossovered to psa? The old blue slab or the new clear one with 8 subgrades?

  • Just a note on the one CSA 9 card I cracked and sent to PSA. It came from the older B&W slab, yet it came back with the dreaded N1: Evidence of trimming.

    Good thing it was a $26 card and not a premium card. Not that throwing away $40 bucks, (card + shipping + grading fee) is easy, but it beats getting killed on a high end card. I've tracked a few recently and the ebayers are paying nearly as much as ones slabbed by PSA or SGC. That's nuts!

    There are other threads on CSA and they warn of lots of trimming. I'll avoid CSA cards no matter what color the tag.
