Philosophers on Coins

A few years back, I gathered almost 24 different small Greek silvers from the towns and times of philosophers. The goal was to have a coin that reasonable could have passed through the hands of the thinker, so most were from a generation or more before the nominal birth years, but others were from at least before the accepted year of death.

These (KYRENE_OBV and KYRENE_REV) were the first, for Eratosthenes, the Librarian of Alexandria who estimated the distance to the sun by comparing shadows on the first day of summer. The other two (SYRACUSE2_OBV and SYRACUSE2_REV are for Archimedes.
