Rejected Montana.

Here is a scan of a Joe MOntana I had rejected in my last submission. Can anyone supply a scan of a good one so I can compare. thanks al.

Here is my TTM. Most likely bogus as well but closer than the one you submitted. Third party authenticators have gotten it wrong in the past, but just looking at your's I would say they made the right call.

and here is the second submission. Can anyone explain why the Kelly in my second submission doesn't have the PSA/DNA Certified comment?? I was told that they don't place that on cards from the factory that are autographed after 1998 but the Kelly is a card from 1989 and was signed in person....or did PSA goof and not put the notation on it????

amazing, so far two examples of certifed autos that are both distinctly different...this should be a great thread....I also have to pull out two other Montanas that I had rejected a number of years ago, if I can still find them......maybe I should try a resubmission.

Mine is not certified. It was TTM and most likely ghost signed.

here are some scans from the submission I've gotten back already, it arrived today....anticipate receiving the second submission Monday or Tuesday. The Ham auto only got a 6 in grading but I still think it's a cool card of him...and believe it or not I'm a Brown's fan...must be the Kent State connection.

Was wondering what OP means?? If I'm being asked, I bought it from a friend I worked with who told me his brother had it signed in person along with two other cards....guess it was too good to be true....I also had the other two rejected as questionable...if I can find them I'll also post scans. IN my second submission the Kelly was also purchased from my friend....only thing is like I said is that PSA graded it but didn't put the PSA/DNA Certified comment on the card....guess I'll have to go back to them to clear it up.

correct, the grade is for the card...these are from the recent $10 special they ran where you could have the card authenticated and graded if you wanted....any opinions on the grades?? did I make a mistake getting the cards graded along with the auto's authenticated?? and one last stupid question, I've seen TTM recently mentioned alot, what does that mean??? along with OP??? wish my son was here, he's a wiz at deciphering things like this...

Yeah PSA/DNA rejected a Montana auto of mine that he signed right in front of me at a Notre Dame function. Mainly because if they deem that the signature isn't "fluent" then it's pretty much a fake. In my case, Joe signed his first name and then stopped to to look up to take a photo with a kid at this charity function, and then went back to finish his surname. Therefore apparently PSA deemed it as having "inconsistencies".

Rejected Montana.
