Mantle autographs

I was bored so I thought I would share a couple of Mantle autographs I have. Both of the photos are about 16x20. All autographs were obtained by me in person. Sometimes I can't beleive I met and spokle to these players. Sorry if I already posted this story before............
Anyway, the photo of Mantle by himself was obtained at a show in the early 1980's at a show in Atlantic City or New York. I was in line like everyone else and he was just sitting there like a machine signing his name (no inspriptions or personalizations were allowed) and speaking to whomever asked him questions. When this picture I have was placed in front of him, he stopped, lifted the photo and said "Wow, I really like this shot". He placed the photo back down and we exchanged pleasantries and shook hands. He proceeded to sign the photo and was about to slide it back to me when he pulled it back and added the No. 07. He slid it back and thanked me for coming out. It was a very nice experience.
The second picture has no real story but it is a very nice item.
Thanks for looking.

<< <i>nice items; I have a quick Mantle autograph story...Around 1990 at one of the Gloria Rothstein shows in NY, Mantle was there and I went with my friend who is a huge Mantle fan and wheelchair bound. We got to the front of the Mantle autograph line and my friend asked Mantle if he would sign the ball with his full name "Mickey Charles Mantle." Greer Johnson who sat at Mick's left sneered "he can't do that...." Mantle took the ball, pulled it up close to his eyes, smiled and signed on the ball & gave it back to my buddy 'sweet spot down' and told him not to look at it until we left the room. When I rolled him out of the signing room, he quickly turned the ball over and right on the sweet spot was Mantle's full name.......That was nearly 20 years ago and we still talk about that day! >>
Great story!
Had this signed in 1976:
