Red Sox owner Tom Yawkey was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980.
He appears on a card during the time he was an owner - 1959 Fleer Ted Williams #42 (Williams Slowed By Injury).
Here are pictures of the front and back of the card.
Should Yawkey be added to the Baseball HOF Complete Set, with this card accepted for his slot?

That's a good question, and it hurts my head a bit to think about it, but I'm leaning toward no.

Always plenty of PSA-graded cards in my ebay store -- https://ebay.com/str/thelumbercompanysportscards
<< <i>As a HOF complete set collector this is a no-brainer. Tom Yawkey was inducted into the HOF as an executive. He served as AL vice president (an MLB executive position) from 1956-1973. This card (1959) falls within the years of his tenure as an executive -- so this card clearly should be part of the HOF complete registry set. I'm sure they will add if requested. >>
OK, I'm sold. Change my vote to yes.
