Regrade Question

Will PCGS regrade a Genuine (cleaning) when you darn well it's not cleaned, I mean darn well, not just sorta well? If they regrade it and it grades, are you charge a fee then - by the guarantee they didn't grade properly the first time, I'd assume?

G'afternoon!

No offense, but how do you know it hasn't been cleaned? Have a pic?

You got me there! None taken. I shared 2 coins with a number of local dealers and more experienced collectors before sending it in. Some even thought it was a proof (Buff Nickel). I'll re-try this post once the coin comes back. You're right though... No pics = this thread is worthless.

that is one of the best pieces of advice i learned here and carry forth as there are some great members here

i use 2 members who i consider friends myself for all my concerns as a 3rd opinion carries much weight

onething i've heard is..regrade can be a forever venture...i have 2 in with hopes of them being less then 6 months on turn around
everything in life is but merely on loan to us by our appreciation....lose your appreciation and see

Here as of lately, PCGS has been tight as a Drum on their grading standards. I would what a while.
