At this point they could be the best bet. They are really the only lock in the AL to make the playoffs.

What have the Angels done to improve from last season? Because the Sox, Rays, and Yankees were clearly better than the Angels last year.

I think if by "chance to win it all" you are referring to taking 2nd place in the AL West then I completely agree with you.

That's funny you say that. I follow the Angels just because I hear all of the tidbits on our local radio even though the Angels are NOT in Los Angeles.

Lets see what the Angeles did this offseason just off the top of my head.

#1 Mark Teixeira signed with the Yankees
#2 Krod signed with the Mets
#3 Jon Garland is looking at signing elsewhere....As of yesterday he sounds very interested in the Dodgers.
#4 G.A. might not be back...He's had some good years there.

They did sign Robb Quinlan...yee haw! lol
