Matte Proof Lincoln's for the week of 1-21

Just 2 less than last week despite the fact that over a half dozen were bought last week and replaced with others this week. What is also strange is that NONE of the coins bought are showing up on anyones PCGS MPL registry which makes me think there some collectors who watch the list are not members. This makes no difference to me but for those members who wonder why the coins sell so fast, you have more than this vocal group collecting. I would also add that I saw a couple MPLs sold before they could be listed. Which brings me to my last comment. There have been NO MPL price increases in the PCGS value guide since FUN other than the VDB's.

Till next week

    << <i>1910 PCGS 63R&B $1000 Gene Bruder >>

Price came up as $1350 for me when I looked...

    << <i>1913 PCGS 64R&B $1000 DR.Gene Bruder >>

This once seems to be SOLD, but there's another raw for the same price.

Thanks again for the list image

I don't keep mine in a registry set (only have 2 so far), but I did pick up the 1914 PR63RB 2 weeks ago and it looks great, thanks again Mike image will try to take some pics soon and post them.

With so many of them for sale at the Long Beach show, we may see some changes in the Price Guide, unless the sellers have unreasonable reserve prices...

I have a 1915 coming back from PCGS this week. Grade is 63BN. I agree with the grade even though the coin looks much nicer. Will have photos in about a week.

Also have a very pretty 1912 coming back in the same package. Grade is 64 BN. Pics to follow.

The 67 red 1913. All I can say is WOW!

Charmy Harker has added two additional for a total of four 1912 matte proofs.

It's inevitable that these prices wouldn't bring them out of the closet. It looks like its happening. I'd be careful, some of them look not so nice. image

Had a chance to take a few pics of the 1914 PCGS PR63RB (OGH) from eBay that dbemike pointed out a couple of weeks ago. Tough to get nice photos of these, but here's my best try:

The PR65RD 09 on ebay sold for $3150 (or 2.6 X the price of the new chunky saint ;-)
