No - I figure Calvin Ayre from Bodog already has enough money, he doesn't need any of mine. image

I've been out of the sports betting loop for a long time and don't follow it except for occasionally looking at the Eagles game spreads out of curiosity, but I saw recently whereby a gambler can now bet on every play during some football games. I'm not sure how long this has been going on, but my gosh, they just don't show addicted gamblers any mercy do they?

i imagine that on certain plays during a football game, it has to be "almost" 100% certain that say a run or pass will be called, but I'd be sure the odds would reflect that because ya never know what a coach might call. Again...perhaps this form of betting has been going on for quite awhile, but recently it's the first time I've seen it.

I won't have any bets on the super bowl unless you know anyone who will take an IOU or foodstamps.

I like doing the squares, right now I have a few $10 ones but looking for either $50 or $100.

Another fun play is getting a bunch of guys together and do stat sheet questionare IE: questions like which QB will have more passing yards or which team will kick the longest FG ect.. Pretty fun and it will keep you glued to the TV regardless if you like either team.

Some gambling websites will take body parts as payment for gambling bets. For example Bodog will pay $5,000 for each kidney and up to $10,000 for a liver, but the body parts have to be in good condition.

I only bet when the Bucs play in the SB. So....NO!
Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.
  • I'll do the Squares for $2.00 from a friends office pool as I don't have either an office or a pool.image

Then a buddy of mine and I go to a bar to watch the "Game". Eat, drink and play a couple more squares with fellow patrons. They do a really neat "Square Idea", They have one or two sheets that pay on every score instead at the quarters as most do, and pay up to 25 Scores, if their aren't that many scores the final score gets most of the money. If it's high scoring you have a pretty good chance to win a little money but it's entertaining. For about $25.00 I have a good time.

I used to have a $5.00 bet with my Dad on the Super Bowl every year since 1990, I would let him pick first then I either received or gave the points spread, I never lost that bet. Too bad he passed away in 2001, that was like stealing money from him, guaranteed income every year.image

  • Not only will I not be betting, but I will not be doing one of those square things, and I probably
will not even go to a SB party. Not for this one. Not worth even getting out of bed for. image
