Paypal

Why does paypal not allow you to withdraw more than $500?

"PayPal members are limited to withdrawing $500.00 USD per month."

You must have an old personal account or something. I have made transfers and withdrawals of over $3000 a few times in the last 4-5 months. Check your account or an email from them sometimes there will be a link such as "up your limits" or something. My best guess is that you have a personal account and will probably have to upgrade to premier or business, meaning they get a chunk of every payment that you receive. 2.9% usually.
  • Because they don't WANT to give you your money...Imagine That!!!

You must upgrade, I did it a few months back.

Actually Collect Non Sport, but am just so full of myself I post all over the place !!!!!!!
  • I never have this problem. I usually spend it before I can withdraw that much.

New account holders are limited to withdrawing $500.00 USD per month from their PayPal account. The start of a month is determined by when the PayPal account was opened (for example, May 15 to June 15).

The Withdrawal Limit can be removed by authenticating your identity.

    Here's How:

    1. Log in to your PayPal account.
    2. Click the View Limits link next to your balance information.
    3. Click the Lift This Limit link.
    4. Complete the steps on the To Do list to lift your Withdrawal Limit.

I've been verified on paypal for over four years now. Now I take paypal payments because eBay is enforcing paypal only.

Just completed verifying my credit card.........charged me $2 and I have to write in the code that appears on my statement after that paypal will refund me.

    Thanks for the help guys.
