Did both teasers win yesterday ?

Not a gambler, but I heard someone mention a two game teaser for yesterdays game.

Question. If you teased both winners, or teased both losers, did you win both bets ?

I think the guy who said he was teasing both dogs would've won.

But if you would've had money on the Eagles, you'd have been out your money.

some of my ex girlfriends were "teasers". but seriously it's when you take two or more teams if I remember correctly and then you get points for the way you are betting....don't remember all of the particulars but the more teams you took the more points you got if I remember correctly.

I won my teaser -- it was an even money, 6 point teaser, which means you get to modify the point spread by 6.

Since the Cardinals won outright in the first game I didn't really end up needing the "teaser" points. With the 6 "teaser" points added to the existing six point spread, the Ravens were able to cover (barely) in the second game. So, in answer to the question - both underdogs did cover (if you had a six point teaser).

Had I just bet the two games outright, I'd have won one and lost one (and would have lost money given the juice). It worked in this scenario, particularly as it was an even money bet. Often they are 10/11 bets - which is why some view them as sucker bets. I am not a sophisticated gambler at all, but it is a fairly easy concept once explained.

Am going to Las Vegas for the big game and am happy to have some (relatively) tiny momentum going in.
