everybody, except government & and some lucky souls and the unemployed, otherwise just another day in coal mines. whose holiday is it anyway?????? I think if it is a national holiday everyone should be off with pay and ifin u have to work it should be triple time, (just a little fantasy of mine). everybody back to the grind stone. raise the retirement age to 86 and 1/2 & work till u die and bring back 12 hour work days.

I have to work. I noticed that the company I work for is giving us Presidents Day off for the first time. I guess it was too long of a stretch between New Years and Memorial Day holidays for some -- me included!

2 snow days + 2 weekend days+MLK Day= a nice 5 day vacation from school!

My wife and I work in the same district and my kids attend as well...so it was a 5 day family vacation for us.

a little cabin fever...but thank God for Rock Band 2!

I have to work, though we are getting off President's day this year. My wife is a teacher so they have the day off.

Working,
Since the Gov. agency I work for went to the PTO thing, all frivilous Holidays are gone, we lost them. Ie: MLK, Presidents day, Veterans day, ect. We only get the big 5 anymore, Christmas, NY, Thankgiving, Memorial day, and Labor day. And if it snows on one of those days, you work anyway, so sort of meaningless.

so yup - no workee today. tomorrow is inuaguration days .. um, so yup - no work tomorrow ... Wednesday ... meh, we'll see ...
