    Dead and hopefully he made it to heaven and the photos do not look like the Hollywood Cemetary.

    I can't be sure, but he's probably in his tomb in the Pantheon in Rome, across from his son, Umberto.

    Yes! Vittorio Emanuel II as well as his son Umberto I (but not his grandson, Vittorio Emanuel III, who condoned --collaborated with? -- Mussolini) is entombed in the Pantheon). So is Raphael the painter (pretty amazing!). The Pantheon was built circa 125 AD and has been used continually since its construction.
