Quick Ebay seller question

I don't sell a lot on the Bay so hoping one of you experts can help me. I sold some items that ended 5 days ago. One of my buyers was NARU'd within a day or two of winning. He has not paid. I tried to contact him but no reply. It's only been 5 days but he is NARU'd so assume he's GONE. Would you go ahead and put in a non-payment on him and offer a second chance to the under bidder? Wait a few more days in case he comes back onto Ebay? The guy has positive feedbacks up to Jan 13th and then nothing. Very odd.

He could/should have been NARUd just for his stars.
When folks start selling hundreds of dollars worth of gift-cards at a
discount, it can mean they are having money troubles. They often
use a MC/VISA to buy such cards, and then dump them for cash on EBAY;
with no intention of paying the MC/VISA.
(Or, sometimes such sellers get NARUd for selling gift cards with which there
is "a problem.")
OTOH, folks get NARUd for all kinds of minor reasons. Maybe his credit
card on file simply expired and he owed EBAY 50-cents.
.....
When a buyer is NARUd, it is OK to immediately file an NPB. Your FVFs
will be refunded fast, and you can relist your item.
<< <i>What if the buyer's account is reactivated before the NPB process is complete and he/she then immediately pays for the item after it has been relisted or the itme is sold in a second chance offer? >>

In most cases, an NPB against a NARU will be granted and closed immediately.
If it is not, the seller just waits for payment and closes on day 8 if no payment
arrives.
