Another fantastic signing by Theo if it goes through. Four years for $40 million to go with Pedroia's 6 years and $40.5 million. Next up: Jason Bay.

    I heard on my local radio that Scott Boras had been talking to Theo about Manny and they have made up some ground.

    Are the Sox gonna let Youkilis go to the bathroom during games this coming year? It's almost embarassing to watch Youk squirm/fidget/bounce during his at-bats. When he needs "to go", please just let him go!! image

    I don't know if I'd say he has "a lot more". Youkilis had 29 homers last year and Teixeira had 33. Over his career, Tex has proven to be a consistent power hitter and Youkilis hasn't done that yet, but I don't know if Tex has so much more power that it makes his contract worth the extra money by comparison.

    And bman, if you're anything like me, the restraining order should be plenty to keep you from waking up next to Carrie Underwood. Seriously, when did the world go and change to the point that you can't even hide in bushes outside someone's window in the middle of the night without being labeled a stalker?
