Which of these two things would you say is more likely to happen in 2009

Gold to 900 or the Dow to 9,000?

Seperate questions.... Which would be more likely to happen over the next 12 months

Gold to 750 or the Dow to 7,500?

    honestly, i think both will happen in the year 2009.
    volatility is the order of the year.

    when for either, i am not sure.

    Gold very likely.

    DJ? Doubtful this year or next. We haven't seen anything near the bottom yet.

    Gold to $900. Probably at the end of the year. I would say closer to $1000. That's *AFTER* some near term downwards movement.

    I don't think we'll see gold as low as $750 in 2009. Maybe a dip to just under $800. It's already recovered from the cycle lows and I don't think we'll revisit $705 in 2009.

    The other numbers are all very plausible and likely in 2009.
