OT- it's Icon Upload Day, and the curtain's open now, y'all!

Just thought you might wanna know, if you have a new custom icon you're itchin' to put on.
Like my new one? It's the handiwork of Spacemonkey's daughter, Maddy Rae, who's the same age as my own daughter, Victoria.
Of course my old "Holey Hat Icon" is the default I'll always go back to, but I like adding some new ones to the repertoire now and then.
Besides, this one shows my Holey Gold Hat, too.
PS- for you newbs out there- to make a custom icon, your image must be downsized to no more than 100 x 100 pixels in size, and must have a filesize of less than 10 kilobytes. Get it sized properly, save it to your computer, go to your Profile, and look down to the bottom where it says "Upload your own author icon". Proceed from there. (Note that this only appears on Upload Day while the curtain is open. At close of business today, Pacific time, the curtain will close and not open again until the 15th of next month.)
If you need to downsize your picture, you can use the Paint program. It's on most Windows PC systems, I think. For XP:
Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Paint > "File" on the toolbar > open your image. Make sure it isn't highlighted with the little dotted line around it.
Then use Ctrl+W or "Image" on the toolbar for the "Stretch/Skew" command, to shrink your image by percentages until it is the right size. (For example, if you were to put 25% in both horizontal and vertical under "stretch" you would end up with a picture shrunken to 25% of its original size).
You can use "Attributes" under the "Image" link on the toolbar or Ctrl+E to see how big it is. Remember, it cannot have a length or width more than 100 pixels.

As for the avatars, I think I'll stick with Mr. Cornelius, he's growing on me.

I've got a ton of pics I've made into icon size but will probably never use. If anyone wants one go ahead and upload away! (Just please keep the filename the same)
Here's the one that just went your way LM. BTW I got the 1752 coin in the other day, thanks!
