This is the place where you test 'em, yes. Purdy Walker, there. Beyond purdy. Eyepopping, in fact. I can see why you wanna iconize it.

Your picture must be no larger than 100 x 100 pixels and less than 10 kb in filesize. When it is, save it to your computer, go to your Profile, and look for the "Upload a custom author icon" box. Proceed from there. PM me if you need assistance or help downsizing that image.

Thanks for the reminder- I have a new one to upload myself. I'll always use my default "HoleyHatIcon", but sometimes I like to make new ones for a little variety.

NOTE- as of this post, I went to my own profile, and the Upload box has not been enabled yet. This is probably because it is still not 9:00 AM Pacific time. You have to wait until the mods have come to work and had their first cup of coffee or two before they raise the curtain to allow uploads.

Just watch your Profile, and when you see that "Upload Custom Author Icon" box, you can proceed. It should be down near the bottom of the Profile page, near where you see the option to choose an existing avatar that's there now. The curtain should lift as soon as everybody's on the job out in California, as I mentioned.

Hi, Thanks for the help. I sometimes srtuggle with the computer stuff and for whatever reason I have really had problems doing this but I think I have it now. Everyone has such cool stuff it sometimes seems imtimidating not having your own avitar. As you can see I am new to the forums but have been working on my sets since I was a kid with my dad who passed away 10 years ago. This is a great place to come and talk coins with people who really are like minded. Once again, thanks for your help.
