1985 Nike Michael Jordan Rookie card

I recently picked this up in a deal and I was wondering what the value of something like this is raw versus having it slabed. The card is in nrmnt-mint in conditon with pretty good centering. I just can't decide if I should lab it or keep it raw. Does anyone no the values for raw vs slabbed by looking at it's condion.

There are too many counterfeits to know if it is real. I bought a pack with all four cards in it. James Lofton, Jordan, Dwight Gooden Lance Parrish and PSA graded the Lofton and would not touch the Jordan, Gooden or Parrish. I bought the pack for $9.00 two years ago. Hope this helps

Have the set with Jordan a PSA 8, paid $75.00 for it.

Take a look on ebay. Especially look at graded ones. The real Jordans will have more of the skyline than the fakes. The red square on the backboard will not be cut off on the real ones.

Looks like the Nike 10's go for about 700, 9's for 200, and 8's for 100.

If I remember correctly,
Danny Goldman was hawking the PSA 10's on Shop at Home for $ 20,000.

They are cool cards. I lucked out last year with buying raw sealed sets on Ebay. I paid only $100 for a group of 4 sets, which yielded 3 PSA 8s and a PSA 9. Flipped them all and used the funds to fuel my HoF rookie card collection.

So, not ALL the raw Jordans on Ebay are fakes.

My scanner is such a piece of junk. I tried scanning it without a case and it still looks terribel. I don't know why it looks so streeky and blotchy. It does not look like that in person.
