The NRA sent me a "coin" featuring the M1903

Not sure what they're up to, and I love the NRA, but this effort was kind of sad. It feels almost like plastic, and must be some sort of cheap base metal. It came unsolicited with a DVD, asking me to continue to purchase future DVDs and coins by returning the post paid card. I normally DESPISE this kind of practice, but I can forgive it for two reasons. One, it's the NRA, and Two, the letter assured that with no response, no more junk would be sent. The letter clearly stated that since I did not order this package, it was mine to do what I wanted with, and I should only reply if I choose to keep receiving them. They enclosed an envelope to send it back if I didn't want it, or to just keep it.

Or one of these fine youth, standing in the NRA Range, could shoot that eagle right off it at 10 meters!
<< <i>Leave it at the range and see if it develops any target toning!

That was the snappy comment of the year so far!
Hey lunytune2 - if you like it you can have it. Shoot me a PM.
I actually carried the membership card in my wallet for a time, just for laughs.
By the way, this was when I was in junior high!
