my guilty pleasure

I have a lot of decent money cards... and this is about my favorite thing I own...
this card was why I started collecting.. I was 10 and it was big money back in the day...
I wish I could have a 1000 now just because..

I remember ripping those packs looking for the Kittle and Mike Marshall card. Both were the card to get in that set lol
  • How many Boggs' and Sandbergs did I throw away looking for Kittle and Willie McGee?

That's funny. I know exactly how you feel about those Kittles.

A few months ago, I saw a large lot of 87 Fleer Kevin Seitzer RCs on Ebay. That card was so smoking hot back in the day, and I could never pull one from a pack. I came very close to buying that lot....then came to my senses.

I love threads like this reminding me of what I was trying to pull from packs in the 80's. Every year and set seems to have a few cards that we tried to find that are worthless now. Each year and set also seemed to have a card or two that we completely neglected while we were looking for other players. The Seitzer is another good example. How many Bonds cards got pushed to the side because of Seitzer?

Or better yet, how many Bonilla cards were traded even up for Bonds? Back in the day, they booked for the same amount
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY
