A couple of strays, Canada and Venezuela, questions

I inherited two coins from my mom. One is a 1957 Canadian half dollar, and the other is a 1935 Venezuela something, it says "gram.10" and "lei 835". My questions are:

1. What is the Venezuelan coin?

2. What, if any, is the silver content of these two coins?

Don't know about the Canadian, but the other is a 2 Bolivares and the silver content .2685 troy-oz.

The 1957 Canadian half has a silver content of .300oz

Thanks for the info. I figured with their age they probably had at least some silver.
