Questions for those who use PSA/DNA service

I have a few index cards I may to send in for authentication, but I have a few questions:

1. Do you have to be a member of the Collectors Club to send items to PSA/DNA? I did not renew after my subscription ended in October.

2. Is blue flip is strictly for authentication?

3. Have you been satisfied with the results overall?

Thanks for any feedback.

you do not have to be a member, just go to the Psa/Dna web-site and fill out a form.
I believe the blue flip is for authentication ,but they will also issue an autograph grade only on the blue flip. The red flip is for the card.
I have been moderately satisfied with the process.

    Robert,

    1) You do not have to be a member to send items to PSA/DNA
    2) If you send items to PSA/DNA and you want them slabbed, your only option is blue flip if you are not a member. The red flip is for the card grading/authentication offered by PSA, which you have to be a member to submit to AND It's only for trading cards. Both the card and autograph must be authentic. Plus, the index cards would not get red flips regardless if you were a member or not, only blue flips.
    3) I have been satisfied and pleased with the results and service so far.

Keep in mind that EVERY authentication company makes mistakes regardless of what anyone will tell you. However, your items will be worth more to the market with PSA/DNA authentication or James Spence Authentication, then they will be with authentication from almost any other authenticators. Just don't expect perfection as any process that involves human judgement will not be able to obtain it. They do a very good job for the volume that they process and the wide diversity of signatures that they opine on.

Thanks, guys. I only want the authentication piece as these are some TTM's I got last year. I am sticking with unlined index cards so far because I like the clean look, so no cards(yet).

I don't plan to sell, but I never say never.image
