    Maybe the Cards wanted to keep Edge fresh for the playoffs?

    Seems like just a couple weeks ago people were saying Cards were the weakest team in years to make the playoffs. Go figure..

    If AZ wins outright Vegas is going to take a pounding. Local bookies will be REALLY hurt. Cards were +330. That's HUGE!!!

    Why would that matter? Bookies usually make money having equal weighted amounts on both sides of the bet. Meaning, all they want is the 5-10% cut on the action. >>



    It's far more difficult for a bookie or Vegas to get 50/50 action on money lines (outright win) games. Bookies were put out of business when the Giants won the SB last year. Same with the Pats in 01.

    Well, after one half, I wouldn't put them up with the Giants D, or Philly' D, or Baltimore's D, or Pitts D....well, you get the idea.

    Jake Delhomme is awful. I have been a Panthers fan since the team started in 1995, and management seems to think Delhomme is the answer. He is not. He tries to throw into tight spaces, and continually yells at other players because he sucks. I'm over Delhomme. Any other team want him?

    He does suck...and what's worse is that when he is bad he is downright awful..
