Austrian Navy (Reverse Now Imaged)

Yes, there was one, during the days of the Empire. I was happy to find what appears to be an original Hartig medal. It honors Archduke Charles Stephan who was an admiral in the navy.
I suspect that he also had something to do with honoring the wounded in battle. I do not fully understand the Latin on the reverse, but it appears to refer to the wounded as having a distinguished inheritance. Dulce et decorum, I suppose. Anyway, it appears that the military man has a wooden leg.

Holy cow, I must have been really tired. Anyway, DorkGirl, the reverse now is in place.
