O/T - I am just curious

By now most of you know that my little daughter and my wife were diagnosed with Cancer. About 3.5 years the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society asked my daughter, Francesca, to be the poster child for their countrywide Coinboard program. The Coinboards are those cardboard signs that have openings to put quarters in that you see on the countertops in many diners, pizzerias, delis, etc. She is still the poster child and I have had people from here in NY, to FL and out to CA tell me that they have seen here picture on these coinboards in their city. I am just curious if any of you have ever seen one where you live. Francesca is almost 10 years old now ... the picture below was taken when she was six.

    Douglas, I don't think your daughters coinboards have been in any place I've ever been in up here in northern Canada. But I do wish her, your wife and of course you, the very best of everything. You must be a very strong person Doug. Stay well.

    Doug, I see these all the time, Of course I travel the United States and eat out all the time through my travels. Never would have thought there was a personal connection. The last place I saw one was actually pretty close to your home. I was having lunch at a diner in New Jersey.

    Glad your wife and daughter are doing better, Millers are still keeping you and your family in our prayers.

    I am in Land O Lakes, Florida (about an hour north of Matt). I haven't seen her on the coin boards, but rest assured I will look.
    My youngest son was diagnosed with cancer in 2001 when he was 9. He's now 16 and doing great. His illness made us stronger and he's by far the most courageous person I have ever met.

    Bender ... she has been Cancer free for 3.5 YEARS! She is living life like any other 9, soon to be 10 yr old girl.
