Anyone think this 1952 Mantle is real?

Low feedback.
Has sold 1 Goudey card in the past, but on that card, the grade was covered up.
Strange auction requirements and rules.

The card is real, he just does not own it and that Goudey he supposedly sold was a fake and he took
    the buyer for 12 large.

The buyer MSohn has posted here regarding it.

The seller is not who he says he is either.

Edited to add: He tried to sell this card 3 weeks ago, maybe 4.

    Good for you.
  • Same card becomes a thread topic here every time he lists it. It's been pulled by either him or eBay on numerous occassions.

You guys beat me to the punch ... this guy listed this card more than once and the auction was stopped.

I just sent the seller a question and asked him if I could see the card in person since I'm somewhat local to him before I place a bid on the card. I will post his response if I get one.

He does have scans with his Ebay ID on the card?? How does one become a power seller with only 112 feedbacks??

I wanted to add that Rudy Tang's reply to my question doesn't seem like an honest seller. If I had a card with the value of his Mantle, I would have NO PROBLEM showing it to a local person.

  • Just another quick observation, Rudy Tang lives in NJ or NY. Item is listed in California.

That's what I was wondering Bill. I did people searches and did not come up with a Rudy Tang in his area.

With an unusual name like that, you would only expect to find a few. I even looked on Facebook and Myspace. Only Rudy Tang's on either are in CA.
