Numismatic mouse pad collection

With the success and fun I've had collecting numismatic business cards (thanks again to everybody who has helped! image ) I thought a cool way to expand on it would be to start collecting numismatic mouse pads (most of them probably advertise a business anyway).

I have a rainbow Indian Head Cent one from Rick Snow, and wondered if anyone has seen others out there?

Thanks,

My nephew got a free mouse pad from the U. S. Mint booth. It says "HIP pocket change" and has cartoon animals on it.

Just about any image can be put on a mouse pad at Cafe Press or similar printing outfits.

Sounds like a fun project. I once started collecting paperweights with coins in them. It was fun for a while. Maybe that could be your next project.

My mousepad at home is of a Draped Bust dollar. Got it on eBay some time ago.

Oh boy that's a good idea. I usually give a free lighted magnifier to customers. I never thought of mouse pads! Hmmm, ideas, ideas ideas.

Messydesk showed me one a few days back. You can make them to order, they are not expensive.
  • Here's one I've had for awhile now.
How many business cards did you end up getting?
    Have fun and good luck.

That's nice. I've collected over 200 business cards I'm guessing. I haven't actually counted them. I got a business card holder for christmas and I am going to put them in it. I'll count them when I fill my new holder. I'm not done collecting business cards though. It's too much fun and a great way to meet people at shows. "Hi, I collect numismatic business cards. Could I have one of yours?" image

What do you reckon it costs to buy the machine that will print them? And how involved would it be to use?
