Baseball Team Checklists Books or Sites

I am trying to track down a rather concise vintage team reference for the Pirates. I have been working for years on a complete Bowman and Topps Pirates run and am nearing completion and ready to fully go backwards. On my own I have made a rather extensive listing of the majority of vintage Pirates cards out there but would like to track down something to verify the accuracy of my research. Is anyone familiar with the old Sport Americana team checklist books? I haven't seen one in years and can't recall how extensive or how far back the coverage goes. Also is there any sites out there? I have looked and looked. TEAMSETS4U.com is a good modern reference but I have never come by any vintage ones on the net.

Thanks for the link. I've spent quite a bit of time on there in the past. It's a great site. What I need help with is stuff like Goudey and National Chicle Premiums as well as some Exhibits. Many of these have pictures that make it almost impossible to tell what uniform the player is wearing and they do not have teams designated on them.
