Looks like there's one on ebay right now, BIN of $28k. It's location is Cleveland though, so I assume it's a different seller unless they are selling it for her.
I have never seen one with a number grade they are all Authentic. Never seen one in person to examine it but from the images I have seen it looks like it is 2 parts a photo attached to a one color printed backing with the names, etc.. kind of like the N173's.

The same (not the one from the article) card sold for $26100 back in 2006 at Robert Edwards Auctions. Here is what the back to that card looks like based on the card that sold back in 2006. I will also post a better front scan as well. Great story thanks for sharing.
There are a couple variations on that card, Its not real rare, they are out there. The more attractive ones are CDV's with ads on the back, like the one in the article (photo glued to board, like a cabinet), and another variation is more of a Victorian Tradecard (printed picture).
To some it is not the 1st baseball card because it is a team card. Its always a good argument on what is the oldest baseball card, because many of the CDV's from that Civil War era look like they could be cards. There are also photo ticket stubs picturing players/managers that predate this one. The difference is this one is like a true baseball card, it advertises something.

Peck and Snyder, NY - late 1860s–1890s 105 Nassau Street, NY (original Andrew Peck & Co. address) 22 Ann Street, New York 126 Nassau Street, New York (May 1st 1870) Peck and Snyder was purchased by Spalding in 1894.
They are saying that one the old lady is holding is going to grab 6 figures. I cant believe they would put it on dbay and not use one of the bigger auction houses.

Different card. The ebay one has the corners clipped.
At least she didn't find it in a dumpster, like all the rest
