What's your most precious ugly coin?

My oh-so-clairvoyant wife, bless her heart, bought me a nice DSLR and macro lens for Christmas. How'd she know? So I began re-shooting my Lincoln set with much excitement. Much better pix now grace my wheaties registry set.
With the help of Mark's wonderful book my photos are better. Many are almost too revealing. Undressing these coins to show their true look, warts and all, made me re-examine some upgrade priorities.
My 14-D has a crusty old look, very earthy, that I have come to love (first photos). Gonna keep and be happy with that a while. And then there are some fugly ones, like my '17-S (second set of pix). I'm almost ready to give it away -- and those are the most flattering pix I could take!. I can't even remember when I bought it, or why I liked it then.
But the '17-S like many of the early SF mint Lincolns are tough to come by and I actually have a attachment to it. Maybe I just need to find a good doctor for one of us.
Do you have a butt-ugly coin you're sentimental about, or one you just can explain your love for? Show some pictures!

Yeah, the missus says I've been too hard on them and I should just go back to the old brownie camera. Why don't you post your mailing address and I'll send you some dawgs to hold onto for me? I really appreciate it, John.

Probably this one, but since it's an R-4 (81-200 known), I don't care if someone else pukes.

<< <i>Sweet Liberty Nickel, Dwayne! Nothing comes close to an '85. So easy to love. Congrats. >>
Thanks! I am just a regular working stiff who collects as a hobby/investment. I never really dreamed I would ever own the 1885 in the series, and this example is nice looking for the grade. I really owe a debt of gratitude to PonyExprees8 for obtaining it. He was willing to work a trade deal that really helped me more than him. He is a GREAT guy, and I would recommend him to anyone, anytime!
